GUNDOGAN #22 (La Liga Nameset)
The 2023/24 Barcelona Away Jersey is a tribute to one of the club's best players and most influential figures, Johan Cruyff. The Dutchman was a two-time Ballon d'or winner as a player, and as manager his accomplishments included four La Liga titles and the Champions League.
Barca wore white off and on throughout the years from the 1910's to the 1970's. Cruyff was captain in 1978, the last time it was worn.
Red and blue on the cuffs is a nod to the captain's armband which Cruyff wore.
The sewn on badge is a re-creation of the 1978 version, with different shades of red and yellow and alternate lettering.
Catalan flag colors are on the upper back.
